When it comes to great skin, I believe cleansing is the most important step. It doesn’t only get rid of dirt and oil, it helps our anti aging products, moisturizers and serums work better. My life has been so much busier lately and even with a busy schedule and lifestyle, I find time to cleanse twice a day using simple and straight to the point cleansers. These are my favorite that I’ve used in the past and still use now.
This is Pigmentclar by La Roche Posay. It is made for oily and acne prone skin. It is foamy and it gives a really good clean. I use this because I have combination skin and my T-zone would not let me be great lol. This is good for daily use and it has gotten rid of a lot of dark pimple spots on my face that happens during that time of the month.
I know we’ve all seen the commercial for this one. It is really all in one. It removes water proof mascara like a breeze and I can’t tell you how often I use this. For all skin types it says but if you have really sensitive skin, I do not recommend it.
This is for more those that uses anti aging products. It is designed to optimize the performance of your anti aging products. It is a cleanser and an exfoliator in one. Your skin will become softer after just one use.
I normally don’t use soap bar on my face but when a friend of mine told me about the Shea Moisture Detox Butter soap, I had to try it. I started using this bar soap last summer when I notice my skin looking dull and just blah! After a couple of uses I notice the difference on my face and body. Yes! you could also bathe with it. Who doesn’t love that?
This is Vichy Purete thermal 3-1. I love this cleanser. It is for those with dry and sensitive skin. Now this I recommend for sensitive skin because it is soothing and hydrating after each use. This is actually part of my make up application routine. I cleanse with it and I do not have to wash it out, or use a toner because it also tones your skin. The best part is, I use it as a make up remover after wards. How awesome is that?!
Ever since I incorporated cleansing into my regimen, my skin has become smoother, brighter and most importantly less break puts.
What are your favorite cleansers to use?
